September - December 2024 - Book Design, Adobe Indesign, Digital Illustration, Adobe Indesign
Eidolon: Become Your Best Self is a tabletop role-playing game created by Luke Varner and Molly Rhinebeck.
I was hired to design all of the internal layout for the 153-page book, as well as contributing several internal Illustrations. This project involved several aspects of visual design, including typography, Photoshop, and Illustration.
Introducing the PC35S
October 2024 - Digital Illustration
An in-universe promotional poster going over the many features of the PattCorp Model 35-Standard, a kaiju-battling robot and shining example of top-tier coastal defense in the year 2220.
The Death of Ti Nowak
July 2024 - Digital Illustration
A poster design exploring doomed prophecies, the inevitability of fate, and the voyeurism of stories. Wanting to echo the look of a grunge-y concert poster, giving off the vibe of being crudely screen or block printed. Because of this, I used a limited color palette, and kept
the shapes rather large and simple.
MYTH
June 2025 - Digital Illustration
An illustration inspired by the album MYTH by the Narcissist Cookbook, which follows the story of the mysterious death of an old lighthouse keeper who was found surrounded by stories scribbled across loose sheets of paper. This work is intended to work both as a poster and as an album cover, leading to two different formats, one in 11x17 and one in 11x11.
Drowned Chords Cast Lineup
April 2025 - Digital Illustration
The cast of a developing visual novel concept. I greatly value diversity of silhouettes and body types in character design and I appreciate how this lineup demonstrates that.
Eidolon: No Cost Too Great Cover
August 2025 - Digital Illustration + Adobe InDesign Layout
Cover art for a work-in-progress print version of my digital webcomic.
Eidolon: No Cost Too Great Page #25-#26
March 2023 and Onwards - Digital Illustration
Here, to the left, pages #25 & #26; a character feels something awakening from deep inside of them- and decides firmly to ignore it.
One of only a few Eidolon sequences that receives full color, I am extremely proud of the expressions and body language here and how it establishes the character's bad attitude as well as setting up their primary character conflict.
Below, more recent pages, demonstrating a variety of settings and dynamic panel compositions.
Last Night On Earth
July 2024 - Digital Illustration
This piece takes place at the emotional conclusion of these character's arcs. They don't know what's going to happen tommorow, but they're letting go if the uncertainty that's been crushing them and taking a moment to breath, knowing they'll face it together. The piece incorporates the character's color schemes- both red and blue- desaturated in to calm, cool pinks and dark blues that turn to purple as they fade together, reflecting the calm middleground the characters have found between their previous harshly conflicting perspectives.
Under Pressure
November 2023 - Digital Illustration
Alone in a motel room, the crushing pressure of circumstance weighs down on the character. The low lighting and intense black and white add to the somber tone of the piece.
Guiding Hands
March 2023 - Ballpoint on Toned Paper
One character teachers another how to properly wrap his hands for a fight.
Fishy Self Portrait
March 2023 - Ballpoint on Toned Paper
An assignment for my freshman year drawing class, the challenge of this one was to incorporate the features of some sort of animal into a human portrait. I went with my favorite, an Anglerfish, having fun with the bioluminescence to create some fun effects with the lighting and eyes.
Fight Club
October 2023 - Pen on Paper, Digital
Practice at action poses with big, cheesy comic-book style action lines and sound effects, this was drawn in my sketchbook with a ballpoint pen, and lined over with a thin felt tip marker. It was then imported into my drawing app and all color was applied digitally.
